I just bought this 1972 Pontiac Grand Prix Model J from a farmer in Springfield, Kentucky this past August 2002. I haven't had it long enough to make many improvements yet, although it doesn't really need a lot. I have already replaced the Dunlop Radial tires with new Dayton Daytona Radial tires since this photograph was taken. I've had new dual mufflers and aluminized exhaust pipes put on it. I've ordered new trunk weatherstriping, gray/green felt trunk mat & spare tire cover, and blue jack paint and plan on restoring the inside of the trunk to showroom condition by the end of this fall. I've also purchased new AC Delco spark plugs and original equipment Packard Radio spark plug wires and plan on doing a back-to-factory-specs tune-up as well.
