B Division

Congratulations to all participants during the tryouts. Normally 13 players is too many for a varsity team, but because of your hard play, effort and similar abilities, the coaches have decided to keep all 13 players. Because 13 is a large group, playing time during some games could be restricted or even absent. Also, I will avoid putting players in situations that they are not physically able to fairly compete. We expect the full cooperation of both the players and parents in this regard. I will have a more detailed handout for the players and parents detailing my thoughts on player participation, their roles on the team and our goals for the 2006-2007 season.

We will be participating in the upper level of the B division again this year. This is the 2nd most competitive of 4 divisions. We will play 7-8 games with other B division teams and 6-7 games with A division teams. So we have a tough challenge ahead of us but the enthusiasm, willingness to learn and player potential gives me confidence that we can have a successful season.
